Christmas in Ida opens its doors to the world on Thursday, Dec. 4 with an encore concert, T’was the Night Before Christmas in Ida – A Unique Evening of Trans-Siberian Music featuring Siberian Solstice, presented by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Siberian Solstice presents a captivating contemporary rendition of Christmas melodies, drawing inspiration from the renowned Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This concert offers a fusion of traditional Christmas classics and timeless orchestral compositions, all heightened by an immersive sensory experience featuring intricate light displays, state-of-the-art sound engineering, and dynamic visual effects.
Infused with a contemporary rock ambiance, the performance showcases the talents of Siberian Solstice through the utilization of electronic keyboards, percussion, and guitars, delivering a high-energy spectacle that resonates with audiences of all ages.
Highlights of the repertoire include the beloved hits such as Sarajevo, Dreams of Fireflies, Hallelujah, First Snow, What Child Is This, Christmas Dreams, and more, expertly interpreted by the skilled musicians of Siberian Solstice.
Comprising of ten accomplished performers and supported by a dedicated crew of seven seasoned musicians with extensive recording and live performance backgrounds, Siberian Solstice promises a spellbinding evening of musical excellence and artistic innovation.
The Holiday Arts on the Avenue, presented by Family Medical Centers of Michigan, will be touring the festival, beginning with a Thursday night display before the concert. Professional and amateur artists will paint a Christmas scene on canvas that magically comes to life.
